Here's what I do and don't store when you visit and chat with me on this site. Plain English; no legal boilerplate.

What I log

Every message you type and every reply the bot returns. Plus a hashed version of your IP address (so I can rate-limit abuse without keeping the raw IP), your browser type (truncated), basic timing data, and a coarse location (city / region / country) derived from your IP at request time so I can see which parts of the world the bot is reaching.

For how long

Conversation transcripts auto-delete after 90 days. Notes you submit through the “Send Cody a note” flow stay in my inbox for as long as I keep them there; the server-side log of those submissions auto-deletes after one year.

Why

Two reasons. First, to improve how the bot answers. When I see questions getting bad replies, I tune the voice doc and redeploy. Second, to spot abuse patterns and keep the service running without burning my LLM budget.

Third parties

Anthropic processes the message content to generate replies. Google Analytics tracks page views. ipapi.co receives your IP transiently to return the city / region / country that gets logged alongside your message; I don't keep the raw IP after that lookup. No data is sold or used for advertising.

Your rights

If you want me to delete a session, an inbox note, or both, email cody@evolcreative.com and I'll do it within a few days. Same email for GDPR/CCPA access or deletion requests.
